Heart coherence meditation4/19/2023 We will find that our reality continues to reflect a cycle of disharmonious experiences. If our minds are not allowed to sync up with the heart, it will continue to play out limiting beliefs and unhealed trauma. When this state is a consistent standard in our lives, we become confined to our own minds. When we have to constantly push through prolonged periods of stress, this leads to the long-term stress response that is detrimental to our body, mind, and spirit. Whether we are talking about a low level or high-level amount of stress, the key is that stress is meant to be fleeting. Complacency and stagnancy are not conducive to the human spirit. If we didn’t have some amount of stress to catalyze growth, we would remain complacent and unmoving. There’s also the kind of stress that shines a light on a problem, which motivates visionaries and innovators to create solutions never been done before. There’s the kind of stress that signals us to protect ourselves and our loved ones from danger. There are fluctuant amounts of stress that occur in our lives, when integrated, it can often serve a positive purpose. Our bodies know how to naturally process stress responses. We must recognize that the natural evolution of human consciousness accounts for a healthy amount of stress. If you are a human being living in modern society, you are likely predisposed to some level of stress, usually connected with the pressures of ancestral, familial, societal, and cultural pre-conditioning. Studies have shown that a prolonged period of stress response in the body, causes an increased risk of long-term illness. They are seeing that mindfulness is a critical solution to one of the most compromising silent killers humanity faces today, Stress. Now more than ever, medical professionals are recognizing and encouraging patients to incorporate meditation in their lives. Meditation is not about getting rid of your problems altogether or bypassing life, it is a tool that is meant to support you through the current of life’s natural ebbs and flows. When it does swing, you find that you can come back to a state of equilibrium more quickly and naturally. However, when mindfulness practices are a regular part of our routine, and there is congruence within our mind, body, and spirit- the pendulum doesn’t swing so far one way or the other. Life events are inevitable, the pendulum of our emotions will always swing back and forth. Most importantly, when Life does its thing, and we experience loss, hardship, grief, and change- we are more resilient and can navigate through these experiences from a centred place. When we learn how to regulate the symbiotic relationship between our mind, body, and spirit- we feel more grounded and stable. We create space for connection to our Breath and our bodies, which bring ease and fluidity to racing thoughts, trigger responses, and anxiety. When we set time aside to connect to our inner compass and our inner truth, our relationship with ourselves and others flourishes. It can and will change your life if you allow it to.
